You may otherwise know me as "khorben". I have been working for Bearstech as R&D developer.

Role

My assignment on Hackable:1 is "Software Architect", which means I am in charge of a number of things.

Design the distribution

I will have a lot to share about:

  • which software should be (or not be) in the distribution
  • how they should be integrated
  • overall structure and organization

Structure the development process

This means:

  • defining development policies
  • organizing the source code
  • making it easy to build
  • automating tasks
  • checking overall integrity and security
  • bug reports are filed and accessible

Advise on issues

I will also assist in debunking bugs, that is:

  • search and destroy
  • giving my opinion on how to fix them
  • helping out as often as necessary in the process.
